This is a comprehensive inspection of the hull, running gear, safety systems, onboard equipment, and documentation.  The ensuing report will detail deficiencies and recommendations to ensure the vessel is up to USCG, ABYC, and NFPA standards, and includes an unbiased fair market value. 

Commonly used for initiating insurance policies or renewals, this survey may be done afloat depending on the underwriter’s requirements.  It matches vessel systems to ABYC and NFPA safety standards, lists onboard systems, and gives fair market value for insurance coverage determination.
